A fundraising initiative is aiming to propel a traditional song from Palestine to the peak of the festive singles chart. The project seeks to deliver assistance to communities in Gaza while also highlighting Palestinian culture and creativity.

A Possibility for Support and an "Surprise Victory"

Musician and artist Brian Eno, who contributes to the track, stated that the song titled Lullaby represents a opportunity to support Palestinians during the holidays. He acknowledged the potential for an surprise number one.

Lullaby was crafted by a group of talented individuals. The song features a mix of the heritage language with contemporary English verses.

The team running the initiative have emphasized that their objective is to generate maximum funds for a specific fund. These proceeds will be distributed to initiatives supporting Palestinians through an non-profit partner.

“There is no a rigid aim,” a figure commented. “We will pursue the maximum achievable. Of course, the greater the amount, the better. Every penny goes out to the people of Gaza.”

The context in the region was noted for its widespread damage, with a vast majority of infrastructure reportedly levelled or seriously harmed.

“In that context, a few million is unlikely to make an enormous impact. But I think what truly matters is first of all spreading knowledge of this plight and demonstrating the human dimension of the story.”

The single 'Lullaby' is launching on Friday. Additionally, a complete film of the solidarity show will be made available for streaming on a digital service from mid-December.
