I'll overwhelm 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
