Building On Past Errors

This title follows the back of the sci-fi the last installment, launched previously to a negative response it struggled to recover from.

"We most likely couldn't make and develop the latest entry without the lessons we had in the previous title," the manager tells our team.

Among those takeaways was to engage the community involved from the start, and the developers launched invite-only player trials in recent months.

This "reaction was extremely positive," comments she.

A further missing component from Battlefield 2042 was a story mode, which has been brought back this time around.

The Guildford team project head the design director is the person tasked with "guaranteeing those missions are as fun and compelling as can be for the audience."

In spite of claims that the size of the title had challenged the multiple studios partnering across continents to develop the game, the director is upbeat about the work.

"Partnering with diverse perspectives, distinct heritages, it's a very fascinating atmosphere to be involved in daily," he explains.

"The complete strategy has been something new but additionally very thrilling because we are partnering with people from around the globe."

Regarding the pressure on the developers, the director says: "We experience stress but at the same time it's thrilling.

"This is a major project. It's probably the biggest that the majority of the team have before worked on."

Young Artist Adds New Insight
