Soccer Expert Sutton Faces Off Against Artist Murs in Premier League Forecasts

Arsenal's 10-game winning run was ended by Sunderland before the international hiatus, however will the Premier League frontrunners bounce back against local foes Tottenham this Sunday?

"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," stated soccer expert Chris Sutton.

"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still manage to win."

Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this season, versus AI, fans and a range of special visitors.

For week 12, he takes on singer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.

The singer's latest record, Knees Up, is available on Friday.

Football and Parenting Experiences

Murs is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of multiple charity football games down the years - but he is not intending a professional comeback as a player.

"{I actually played in a charity game the other evening for a friend of mine," he said. "My team was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!

"I still love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it seriously again.

"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my child or son chooses to play instead."

The singer and his spouse Amelia Tank have a young family, their daughter and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their manager.

"I won't push football on our kids but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their weekend football team," he said.

"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a while too.

"My father did it with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our side for two or three years and had great fun with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

Premier League Predictions

Saturday, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea may have to be patient for their star's return from injury but their attack is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.

In my opinion this fixture will be fairly tight, though. Burnley are well organised and their only at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.

It suggests a 1-1 draw to me, but I am actually going to go with the London side to win narrowly for what would be their third league win in a row.

Sutton's forecast: 1-2

Olly's pick: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3

Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Bournemouth have been defeated in their past two matches - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which shocked me.

In contrast, the Hammers secured back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at home, they do look strong again.

West Ham's only on the road win this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their boss Nuno Espirito Santo was previously that team's coach.

Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - will it be the Hammers extending their run under their manager, or the home side bouncing back?

I will go with the Cherries, because I believe what happened against Aston Villa was a anomaly.

Sutton's forecast: 2-0

The guest's outlook: The home team are doing well but the visitors have picked up under Nuno. 2-2

AI's prediction: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Brentford were seen as one of the frontrunners for relegation before the season began, but they have surprised a several people under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three in their past four matches.

My son told me to get Bees forward Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.

The forward will probably find the net again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.

They have not had great fortune on the road this term, and the Seagulls are always strong at their stadium. Brentford will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's side pose much more of a threat.

The analyst's forecast: 2-1

The singer's prediction: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of scores but it actually turns out to be rather close. 1-1

AI's outcome: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

This is a huge fixture for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their past six games.

They have got plenty of quality in their squad but it nonetheless feels like they could be sucked into a relegation fight.

As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the surprise package of the top flight campaign so far.

Their display in the 2-2 tie with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We have not seen anyone else disrupt the North London side like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.

The sensible thing to do to support the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of last month.

But I am not going to choose that. Instead, I truly need to carry on opposing the away team with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of credit for their positive results because they evidently enjoy to prove me wrong.

Considering the home side's at Craven Cottage form, the only side they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Marco Silva's side will be extremely desperate for a positive result, so I am going to predict they will pick up three much-needed points.

The expert's prediction: 1-0

The guest's prediction: I know the visitors are performing strongly and also that the hosts are on a bad streak... but Fulham have nonetheless been respectable at home this season. 2-0

AI's prediction: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

It is a tough fixture to predict. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 matches in all competitions, but might they be among the sides who benefit from the {international break|
